– Ensure you can ping the server on both IP address and computer name
– Ensure the SIMATIC Shell folder llists the server and project state correctly on the client
– Hardcode the network speed on the network cards on both client and server
– Delete server data package, check file is deleted in Windows Explorer and recreate package
– Ensure the exact same version of WinCC is on client and server
– Try creating same username / password on both client and server, add the user to the Windows SIMATIC HMI and Administrator groups and log-on using this user

– Check both computers are using the same timezone and clocks are synchronised
– Check both computers have same language configured in Control Panel -> Regional Settings
